The Eisteddfod enjoys a long and successful history in the Lowveld. Essentially, it is an art and culture showcase providing a competitive and friendly platform for the performing and visual arts for everyone from pre-primary children to adults. They are committed to providing opportunities for all participants to express and develop their talents and build self-confidence. “Last year, we awarded 6 800 certificates for over 4 000 entries of individual and group items from as far as Middelburg,” said Thea Möller, chairperson of Nelspruit Eisteddfod. “Every participant received a certificate and valuable feedback from experienced and professional adjudicators.”
