Low cost airline Mango is making 10 000 flights available for R1 on its redesigned mobile app.

The airline announced that the airline that users who download Mango’s new mobi-app would be able to book fares for just R1 between 2 – 6 June (or until sold out).

The offer is only available for those travelling in June and July and is subject to the purchase of a return fare. The app, which can be downloaded for Apple, Blackberry and Android devices, must be downloaded to participate in the offer, which is not available via the airlines website or call centre.

Last year Mango became the first domestic airline to offer flight bookings and payments on the go. The updated app allows users to check for flights, manage their travel arrangements and keep up to date on the latest news.
