The awards will be celebrating the world’s greatest and pioneering restaurants that range from old to new.

Television presenter Lorna Maseko has been selected to present at the World Restaurant Awards, which will be held in Paris this year.

Maseko is known for being a ballerina turned Top Billing presenter. Her love for food was revealed when she was part of the first Celebrity Master Chef on DSTV, where she made it to the top six.

Considered as the “Oscars for Restaurants”, the awards ceremony promises to be an extravagant affair for all culinary lovers and authorities across the globe.

Maseko will be among those to present at the prestigious World Restaurant Awards, which will bring together an array of culinary world stars on February 18. Various industries including film, music, design, art, and fashion will be coming together to celebrate the world of culinary arts.

The awards will be celebrating the world’s greatest and pioneering restaurants that range from old to new, and luxury restaurants to more humble eateries.

Maseko will be taking the world stage as one of the leaders in food curation.

Award categories include: Restaurant of the Year, Atmosphere of the Year, Instagram Account of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, Original Thinking, and Event of the Year.
