The 28-year-old filmmaker will soon release his second movie, The Broken Village, which was shot in his neighbourhood. Despite not having a formal qualification, he did not allow his dream of making movies deter him. He first fell in love with acting when a film group from Giyani visited his village in 2008. He approached the crew for a chance to be part of the cast and was granted a chance to work with them.
In 2014 he had an opportunity to join Phalaborwa FM’s drama titled Depression, where he was the main character. After two years of doing the radio gig, he established 4K Project Films, which creates content using local talent. “The upcoming film seeks to address societal issues which are rife at his village such as gangsterism, substance abuse and teenage pregnancy. He added that one of his dreams is to start acting classes at affordable prices in order to take them away from the streets.

In 2019 he produced his first movie called ‘Mihloti ya manana’ translated ‘a mother’s tears’. He said the most challenging thing about being a young filmmaker is the lack of funding. “I would like to thank Keletso ICT Media with whom we have worked well on this project,” he added.
