‘Tips’ on living a healthy lifestyle

January is a time when most people make resolutions to lose weight and follow a healthy lifestyle.

Phalaborwa Herald spoke to Thapelo ‘Tips’ Motimele, a fitness expert on how to start and stay active throughout the year. He believes that starting small is key for lasting health and fitness.
“There is no need to get into the gym and start lifting a ton of weight.
“Start by walking 20-30 minutes a day and by doing something small everyday, that way you are setting up an exercise habit. Over time you can add more challenging exercises,” Tips explained.
