Shi kargo releases a feel good hit with Roy

Given 'Shi kargo' Mkhari, is back with a fresh new tune, this time collaborating with Roy, a Zambian-born soulful/Afro-jazz vocalist.

The title of their new track is called ‘Natusangalale’ and is in the Zambian vernacular, Bemba. The title means ‘let us be happy’. Listening to the song, one can surely tell that indeed this is a joyful and happy song for the and soul. The duo has been performing to the crowds with some hot tunes in their solo careers, creating a household name for themselves.

This time they have worked on this timeless soulful rhythmic piece after a month of back to back studio work. The song is all about positivity and hope, the beat gets you in a good mood. Roy comes in with his sincere vocals ushering the listener to the catchy hook of the song, he sings it beautifully and one can’t help but sing along with him. The song will be out in all music stores, mainly iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp and many other platforms from Friday, October 29.

Shi kargo was born and bred in Nkowankowa outside Tzaneen and has been producing hit songs with great industry artists since the beginning of his career. He has had collaborations outside of South Africa with the likes of Tom Misch, Hellberg, Kierra Shread and Robert Glasper, through an American music agency which is publishing his music worldwide.

Locally he has worked with the likes of Dj Ganyani, Dj Clock, Mi Casa, Muzart, Wanda Baloyi, Garth Brown, Clint Brink and many others. He had also signed Tzaneen songbird Lebb Simons on his recording label, Jazz Reels, a few years ago. He also has a radio residency slot on Munghana Lonene FM every Saturday from 04:00 to 05:00 called Shi kargo House Mix.
