On Sunday some hikers ran and cycled the canyon. Nyiko Masango, founder of the club, told Herald that hiking is growing as more and more people are joining his hiking adventures.

After doing the physically challenging activities, participants enjoyed a braai and got a chance to catch up with each other.

Before the camp on Friday, Masango cycled for 70km from Nkowankowa township outside Tzaneen to Hoedspruit. Last year he cycled from Tzaneen to Tanzania and after few days climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
