Getting behind the wheel of a ‘four circle’

Audi brand specialist, Monte-Williams Mushwana, believes that Audi is ahead of the pack when it comes to technology and comfort.

According to him the German car brand, has been setting trends in the motoring industry for decades and it is not planning to stop anytime soon.”If you own an Audi, you will always have peace of mind with our maintenance and service plans which are standard offers. “Audi is always a step ahead of the rest when it comes to safety, for example, we introduced the LED lights and everyone followed, we bettered it with matrix LEDs and now we are doing HD matrix LED,” he explained. He told Herald Motoring that his favourite four circle vehicle is the A5, he loves the advanced technology, the sleek design and large space it comes with. As a father who is always on the road with his children, he enjoys the comfort of the car.

It also makes for memorable moments when cruising with his partner, he said.

Although he adores other luxury car brands such as Mercedes Benz (which he also owned for a couple of years) he says he is content with the A5 as his dream car. He believes that no Audi can ever disappoint and that their SUV’s are any family man’s dream. He added that the all new Audi A4 and the all new Q3 are ‘must have’ vehicles.

They boast super improved technologies, competitive modern designs, and most features come standard with parking aid, ambient lighting and LED lighting. The cars are also mild hybrid (the list is endless). The most exciting news about the latest Audi vehicles is AUDI CONNECT. The Audi A4 will be the first vehicle introduced in South Africa to boast full Audi Connect services. It is the digital connection between driver, vehicle and infrastructure.

Born and bred in Nkowankowa outside Tzaneen, he is currently based in Johannesburg. He also spent a few good years in Seshego outside Polokwane. Mushwana, has been working at the Audi Centre in Braamfontein since 2019, but has been in the motor industry for the past 14 years.  He bought his first car when he was 21 which ignited his love for cars.

According to him, although the motor industry was negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the industry is slowly getting back on its feet. “More and more people are now buying cars since the easing of the lockdown regulations. Even though it is still early days, there is light at the end of the tunnel,” he concluded. Monte@hatfieldaudi.co.za, Facebook: Monte Williams or Facebook Mr Audi Brand Specialist – New Cars.
