Revellers are expected to descend Tzaneen this weekend for the Metro FM Gin Fest and Love Movement set to take place at The Fairview Collection Hotel from Friday to Sunday.

The first Metro FM Gin Fest and Love Movement by Bucwild Concepts in association with Limpopo Tourism Agency is a social gathering lifestyle event that will allow the public to enjoy gin in an array of ways whilst bringing in the element of music, golf and artisanal food to create a unique lifestyle experience.

The event will be hosted by Dineo Ranaka, Bujy, Oskido and the Love Movement DJ’s. The audience can also look forward to live performances from King Monada, Kwesta and Big Star Johnson. DJ’s Ganyani, Shimza and an impressive lineup will keep the everyone entertained.

“The Metro FM Gin Fest will see not only the locals in the region descend to Tzaneen but South Africans coming in from far and wide.

“As the Limpopo Tourism Agency we know that the region boasts powerful sites that make an incredible travelling experience to the region. We would like to encourage all those travelling to Limpopo to uncover and discover a Limpopo that we are proud of and is a true travel destination,” says Nomasonto Ndlovu, CEO Limpopo Tourism Agency.

The Limpopo province is well known for its rich, diversified culture and picturesque landscape that has seen tourism in the recent years increase. As the call to South Africans to explore their culture, lifestyle experiences such as the Metro FM Gin Fest amplify the overall experience with what Limpopo has to offer. Legacy sites such as Kruger National Park, Mapungubwe National Park, Polokwane Game Reserve and the Marakele National Park are within relatively close driving distances from the Fairview Collection Hotel in Tzaneen.

Festival goers can also take a further detour to visit the iconic Modjadji Cycad Reserve and perhaps drive a little further to the Beitbridge border post for a driving adventure. “An endorsement of the festival via sponsorship by the Limpopo Tourism Agency is testament that the location of the venue for the debut festival is a holistic experience where festival goers will also indulge in the travel and tourism gem that Limpopo truly is.
