Not only superheroes have superpowers, Tiny Nkuna, says doing beautiful nails is her super power.
Nkuna is the owner of Tiny’s Nail Bar Boutique, which recently moved to Morgan Building second floor number 202 on Morgan Street next to Standard Bank, Tzaneen.
She specialises on all kinds of nail treatments which include, Acrylic nails, Gels, pedicure, manicure and professional make-up.
She currently has two other staff members and hopes to grow her business in the near future.
“This is only the beginning, I would like to expand my business into a full beauty studio, where we would offer different beauty treatments including massages.” Nkuna explained.
In 2007, she had her first nail treatment and says that is when her love for pretty nails began.
Nkuna says that she never thought that one day she could have her own successful nail bar.
Nkuna first opened her doors in 2011 in Nkowankowa township and eventually moved to Tzaneen central business district for expansion.
“At the time when I started, few people saw the need for doing their nails by a professional, but thank God now many women see this as a necessity.
“I say good nails complete your look, women cannot afford to have naked nails, not in this day and age,” she says.
Nkuna advises other upcoming nail technicians not to do the work for money but to do it for the love and then the money will come.
