TZANEEN: New single to get the crowd going

Local hip-pop artist has released his first single, 'Salama Alykom' recently and it is receiving airplay in different radio stations in Tzaneen and outside Limpopo province

Lebogang Malapane, stage name M-Devu (24) from Pulaneng Village outside Tzaneen is taking his music outside the Limpopo Province.

His musical journey began at an early stage by age 14 he followed hip-pop artists such as Lil bow-wow and Romeo.

“My school mates started recognising my talent when I performed a, Chris Brown, dance song in Napscom Secondary School. On that day I entertained a large crowed and I never looked back ever since,”said Malapane.

He has been performing in night clubs around Johannesburg such at The Base and Ricardo to name a few.

He has also shared the stage with big names such;Chomee, KB, Winnie Mashaba and Rhythmic Element among others at the Tzaneen Show Ground in 2014.

Lebogang Malapane stage name M-Devu has released his new single called’Salama Alykom.

He also released a mixtape which his fans loved with songs such, Super girl, I want you Back, So long, Romeo and Juliet and enemies featuring Stapora.

“I also released an online mixtape called recovery mixtape after the passing of my younger sister, Kgadi Malapane and my fans loved it,” added Malapane.

His titles include being a hip-pop artist, dancer and a radio presenter.

He studied Journalism in Rosebank College and has worked as a radio presenter on GTFM and Hillbrow Radio.

He is currently working on his new album called True Story which he will be talking about his life and challenges he faces in the music industry.
