The world keeps on evolving time after time and so does marriage, a new book on the market tries to outline the different kinds of 21st century husbands

Marriage counselor and Pastor, Neo Legodi, wrote one of the current most talked about relationship book in the country ‘Who wears the pants?’

“The title of the book basically asks the question, who is willing to work the most to go an extra mile to keep the family,” said Legodi.

The 14 chapter book deals with 14 kinds of the 21st century husbands available in the different households.

Some of the chapters in the book include, Mr Money No brains, Mr MBA (married but available) and the sensitive guy .

Legodi was born and bred in Seshego Zone 3 outside Polokwane in 1982 and is the third born of four children .

He is happily married to Mapula Legodi, a graphic designer and the couple is blessed with a three year old son Shiloh.

“After six months of dating my wife, I paid lobola and after six months of paying lobola we got hitched.

If you really love a person you don’t need more than a year to know that you want to spend the rest of your life with her,” added Legodi.

In 2004 he completed his BCom in Accounting from the University of Limpopo and afterwards worked for different companies and governmental departments specialising in asset management.

However in 2015 he resigned from his job to focus on his ministry (Many Membered Sons) based in Polokwane.

” The inspiration to write the book came from the number of young couples I counsel almost daily.

I realised that as a population, we are sitting on a time bomb. Marriage and stable family remain the last frontier for stable and moral societies,” he added.

The book was launched in April at the Fusion Boutique Hotel in Polokwane and since has been doing well in other parts of the country.
