Christmas joy for Hoedspruit orphans

The Hoedspruit SAPS, Spar, Pick 'n Pay, Protrack and OSCAP held an annual Christmas tree party for 100 local orphaned children.

“The day started with each child getting a hot dog and cold drink as they arrived which was then followed by various activities for the Children,” said Constable Livhuhani Mulaudzi.

The SAPS K9 unit gave a demonstration and the fire department and Air force also did a fly over.

The children enjoyed playing soccer and attempting the Protrack obstacle course.

As the day drew to a close each child was given a gift and received a food and hygiene parcel to take home.

“Would like to thank everyone who made this day possible including all our sponsors by bringing a little Christmas joy in the lives of orphaned children”, she further stated.
