Plasie teachers rewarded
19 Teachers of Merensky High School were recently rewarded for outstanding teaching and classroom practice.
Felix Nomvela (Department of Education, Tzaneen Circuit Manager) honoured the Plasie teachers with certificates and thanked them for their excellent work.
Three teachers were also awarded the “Top Teacher” award: Louis Fourie for Agricultural Technology, Annaline van Vreden for Afrikaans SAL and Ellen Labuschagne for IT. Stephanie Perold, Lana Labuschagne, Getrude Masete and Chelsea Atherstone were awarded gold certificates for their subject average being in the top 20% of the province.
Nelia Coetzee and Louis Fourie received silver certificates for their subject average being in the top 30% of the province.
