Our own Moca nominated for three music awards

Ally “Moca” Mokgalaka, a national but Phalaborwa based RNB sensation has been nominated for the three most contested categories for the upcoming 13th MLFM Xitsonga music awards.

The three categories are best RNB, best collaboration and the most contested song of the year awards.

People of Phalaborwa can make sure the song of the year award comes to Phalaborwa by sending an sms messages as follows: Song G to 33129.

Moca has five awards to his name including the Metro FM best RNB award and has been nominated for his single called Ka Mzi, where he featured Macbone and Junia.

“By winning the awards, it will motivate the youth of Phalaborwa to know that something good can come out of Phalaborwa. We are encouraging people to vote to bring the song of the year award back home,” he explained.

The awards will be held on 7 November at Giyani Stadium.

Mokgalaka was born and bred at Makhuvha Village, but his roots stems from Seloane and has been a Xitsonga educator for over a decade at Frans Du Toit High School in Phalaborwa.
