Unicorn learner is a lure fisherman of note

According to Juan, his next move is to learn the art of fly-fishing.

During the last couple of months of fishing, a young fisherman from Unicorn Preparatory certainly has had tight lines.

Juan van der Walt has won the following trophies for his fishing:
For the best junior, he won the Pierre Rossouw floating trophy as lure angling champion in the SAPS Tzaneen angling club with 172,518 points.
At 0,870 kg he also caught the biggest smallmouth black bass at Ebenezer Dam and was awarded the appropriate trophy for it.
Juan also received the trophy for the best progress in angling from the Tzaneen lure fishing club.

Well done, Juan, Unicorn Preparatory is honoured to have an angler of your stature in their midst.

Lure angling is a great way to fish, especially for those anglers who do not like touching bait or washing the bait smell off of their hands. Various knots are also used, and Juan knows which knot to use when. According to Juan, his next move is to learn the art of fly-fishing.
