Kiddeo and Tiny Tots sports day full of fun

It was all fun and games at the Kiddeo and Tiny Tots preschool sports day at Ben Vorster High School on Saturday.

The annual event aims to encourage an active, healthy lifestyle, creativity, and bonding between learners and their parents. The day started with the teachers and staff members from Tiny Tots putting on a grand entrance led by bikers. The Kiddeo team entertained the crowd by arriving on a fire truck.

The children participated in many fun activities with the Tiny Tots girls’ soccer team defending their trophy from last year after an intense battle in the penalty shootout winning 2-1. The Kiddeo boys’ soccer team redeemed themselves from last year’s defeat to Tiny Tots and won 2-1 during the penalty shootout after drawing 1-1.

The dads also had their chance and after ending with a 2-2 draw, Kiddeo won 3-1 in penalties. The principals of both schools, Shenaaz Moosa, said the day showcased the talent of the learners and the amount of hard work the teachers put in. “The event was a vibrant celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and the boundless energy of our young students.

It was truly heartwarming to see the enthusiasm and joy on the faces of our children as they participated in the various activities,” said Moosa. She concluded by thanking the parents and all the sponsors who contributed to the success of the event.
