TZANEEN: Super 16 tourney to take place next Saturday

The winning team will receive R6 000 cash prize money.

Super 16 tourney organisers, Joshua ‘JJ’ Hlongwane, Love Vuyo Mayindi and Jack ‘Jack Bean’ Shayawaboya.

The second annual Super 16 soccer tournament will be held at Laerskool Tzaneen on Saturday, June 29.

The six-a-side will feature 16 teams made up of players aged from 15 to 35.

According to the founder and organiser, Love Vuyo Mayindi, the winning team will receive R6 000 cash prize money.

Registration is R900 per team and entrance fee on the day of the game R30.

Kick off is at 09:00.

The tourney is aimed at unearthing and developing hidden soccer talent.
