Indoor hockey is set to take Limpopo by storm
The PSI Leopards League will be run over six weeks and starts the last weekend in August until the end of September when the finals will take place.
Former National Men’s Olympic Hockey player Allistar Fredericks will be launching his very own Indoor Hockey Franchise and league for Junior Hockey players in Limpopo from age groups U13/14/16 boys and girls.
The league will be take place at the Stanford College and the Ben Vorster Indoor halls.
The PSI Limpopo Indoor League at Stanford will be run by Adin Bennett, current Director of Hockey and Head Coach of Stanford Lake College.
Bennett played KZN Men, coached KZN Country district ladies as well as the SA Country District Ladies team 2018.

The PSI Limpopo Indoor League at Ben Vorster will be run by Jayden Mabayah, assistant manager at the Ben Vorster Astro.
Mabahyah played Zimbabwe schools, Zimbabwe U/21, Mpumalanga Mens team and coach of the Limpopo U/21 team.
Fixtures will be run as follows: Saturdays for girls and Sundays for boys.
Allistar Fredericks has been granted the franchise rights to run the Limpopo Leopards indoor franchise and he is looking to run it with the same success he has with his current Gauteng franchise called the PSI Gauteng (Gauteng Gryphons).
Indoor hockey has really grown in South Africa with the launch of the PSI Indoor Leagues and events.
Simon Martin, the founder, has turned this into one of the biggest growing sports in the country with over 2000 kids attending the PSI Nationals in Cape Town annually at which all the various franchises select their best players from their leagues and compete against each other.

Schools/Clubs can enter or kids can enter their very own teams.
Additionally, all the kids participating in the Limpopo Leopards Indoor League are welcome to attend trials for the PSI Nationals in Cape Town.
The trials will be help Stanford College Indoor Hall. The dates for the trials are as follows:
U13/14 Girls: Saturday 15th September: 16h00
U16 Girls/Boys: Saturday 15th September: 17h30
U13/14 Boys: Saturday 15th September: 19h00
