Nkowankowa Barcelona release players to PSL
Mopani SAB League team, Nkowankowa Barcelona F.C under the leadership of Coach Peace Khosa, parted ways with two players recently
Brandon Shipalana has joined Premier Soccer League (PSL) team, Polokwane City and Nkosinathi Ngobeni has joined Wits University junior soccer team.
“I’m very happy for the players and I wish them well at the new teams and let them represent Mopani well,” said Khosa.
The coach also added that he is pleased that bigger teams are recognising the talent that his team has and even without proper means of sponsorship his team still manages to produce quality players.
Last week four of his players Given Mashimbye, Sandile Maswanganyi, Duncan Mohale and Nhlanhla Maimele were doing trials at Highlands Park another PSL team in Johannesburg.
Maswanganyi and Mohale will go back to Highlands Park for second assessments on January next year.
