Makgoba from Nedbank Athletics Club was the male category winner with a time of 01:08:29. Smit won the women’s category with a time of 01:47:20. Emmanuel Ramohlale and Rufus Photo, both from Murray & Roberts Running Club, attained second and third places respectively.

Ramohlale finished the race with the time of 01:11:20 and Photo finished with 01:12:02 on the clock. Rhulani Rikhotso from SAPS Limpopo attained second place with a time of 01:50:47. Rikhotso was also the winner of the women over 40 category. Lutendo Mapoto won the men’s 10km race with a time of 00:31:00, followed by Isaac Moshia and Huboko Msapha, who took second and third places respectively.
The winners of the 21.1km race won R2 000 with a gold medal, second place won R1 000 and third R500. In the 10km race, the winner won R1 000 in prize money, second place won R500, and third R250. Organiser of the race, Molatelo Rankweteke, told the Herald that he was happy with how the event went despite less entries due to the long weekend.
