Little Eden Nursery School

The previous principal of Little Eden, Ingrid Trusler, wrote a letter about her time at the nursery school:

I started to teach at Little Eden shortly after the school was started by Dave and Penny Egenes and Joan Boyce in 1987.

Due to unforeseen health circumstances the principal needed to stand down.

I was asked to take on the principal position which I did for 4 years. It was an absolute honour and privilege.

I loved the children and the team of ladies that I worked with.

The school grew to 100 pupils and four teachers in a short space of time.

We watched the children come into the school, develop and grow, and saw them leave well prepared for Primary School. I remember leaving Little Eden to go into full time ministry with my husband in Pretoria.

I somehow think that I might have still been there if that personal change hadn’t happened for us, I absolutely loved my work.
