Female DJ Lady Shiks is set to release a new song that is sure to get everyone in a great mood on October 3. She made a name for herself in the male-dominated world of DJing, earning a loyal following of fans who appreciate her talent and passion for music. Her upcoming release is highly anticipated with fans awaiting to hear her latest work.
“I love how chilled the beat is and because I love hip-hop, I wanted the song to have a hip-hop feel and decided to feature hip-hop artists only. This one is more of a listening session than a dancing tune,” says Lady Shiks. Lady Shiks is also known for her live performances, dynamic stage presence and expert mixing skills leaving crowds wanting more. “On this new song, I worked with Knight Wing on the beat, who is an upcoming producer, Saulti J, a young hip-hop artist that will make waves soon.”

“I also included Shawdy P who is the best female hip-hop artist in Lesotho, Dala Fam who is a great pioneer in hip-hop music and, of course, the energetic Xisomisani, a Xitsonga hip-hop star,” she adds. “I’m evolving all with time. When I started, I played classic music, then moved to commercial, I then went to Gqom and Afro Tech. I now play Afrohouse and Amapiano.”
“Early next year I will be releasing an amazing EP with Afrohouse and Amapiano. “I am all about spreading love and inspiring young people, I want people to have good time. The new song is about experiencing club life,” she adds. An official launch of the new release will take place at Momes place ka Nkuzana in Giyani on October 11.
