Tourism Thursdays are fun and explorative in the Kruger National Park

Thursdays in Limpopo are never the same since Premier, Dr Phophi Ramathuba dedicated it to tourism.

Today, September 12, the Herald joined the MEC for Limpopo Economic, Development, Environment and Tourism, Tshitereke Matibe and the CEO of Limpopo Tourism Agency, Moses Ngobeni at the Kruger National Park. The day began at Masorini Archeological Heritage Site, situated within the national park, just few kilometres from the Phalaborwa Kruger Gate.

Letaba Rest Camp Elephant Museum.

The Mopani TVET College tourism students also joined the MEC, where they explored the heritage site and the Letaba Elephant Museum together. MEC Matibe said, tourism Thursdays are essential in creating awareness about the beauty and different tourist attractions the province has to offer. During a media briefing at Tindlopfu Restaurant in Letaba Rest Camp, Matibe said, the department says it wants Limpopo to become the number one destination for domestic tourists.
