Romotshinyadi and Mokgwathi extensions to get electricity

252 households in Ramotshinyadi and Mokgwathi villages are destined to receive electricity within the next four months.

According to the Greater Tzaneen Municipality (GTM), Ramotshinyadi will receive 132 connections, and Mokgwathi will receive 120. These 252 households are new extensions. GTM says it will take four months to complete the two projects. “These projects started on November 1, and will be completed by March 31,” said Conny Ramothwala, councillor.

R2.6 million will be spent on the Ramotshinyadi project and R2.4 million on the Mokgwathi project. GTM has appointed Edy EM Technical as a consultant and Marsh P Trading and Projects as the contractor for Ramotshinyadi village. For the Mokgwathi project, the municipality appointed Phadzani Projects as the consulting engineers and Leba Group as the contractor.
