Tzaneen’s Ndavi Nokeri is coming home!

Tzaneen’s own Miss South Africa, Ndavi Nokeri will be in town over the weekend to celebrate with local supporters.

Ndavi won the crown two weeks ago when she outshined nine other contestants during a gala crowning event held in Pretoria. The first leg of the three-day series of activities begins at Meropa Casino and Entertainment Centre on Friday, August 26.

Ndavi will be officially received at a breakfast by the premier of Limpopo, Chupu Stanley Mathabatha accompanied by MECs and the mayors of Capricorn District, Mopani District, Polokwane Municipality, and Greater Tzaneen Municipality. The breakfast will be followed by a street parade in and around the City of Polokwane then head to Greenside Primary School to give a motivational talk and distribute sanitary towels to learners before travelling to Tzaneen.

On Saturday, August 27, Ndavi will pay a courtesy visit to Hosi Mhlaba’s royal palace. The visit to Hosi Mhlaba will be followed by a visit to Ezamazwe Education Centre for Innovation, after which there will be a street parade in and around the streets of Tzaneen, Nkowankowa, and Tickeyline village.

The day will be concluded at a gala dinner in Tzaneen. On Sunday, August 28, the homecoming will close with a bang as the family, the community of Gavaza, and the surrounding villages will be given an opportunity to celebrate Miss SA in style, through a mini music festival to showcase the diverse culture of Limpopo.
