MEC for Social Development, survives car crash

The MEC for Social Development in Limpopo, Nandi Ndalane and her entourage, have survived an accident which occurred on the R511 road on Wednesday morning around 07:30.

The MEC who was on duty to monitor the re-opening of schools in the Waterberg District Municipality, has sustained moderate to minor injuries, which are not immediately life-threatening. Meanwhile her driver and her protector sustained minor injuries.

The Acting Head of Communication at the Department of Social Development, Adele van der Linde, said that the MEC, together with the driver and the protector have received medical attention at a local hospital and will be monitored for 24 hours.
