YOUTH MONTH: Vongani passionate about electronics

As the month of June comes to an end, Letaba Herald, continues to salute young movers and shakers who are making a difference in their local community.

Vongani Vuma is the founder of PC Clinic, an electronics company which he runs from home in Nkowankowa Section D.

His services include hardware repair, virus and spyware removal, installing operating systems, building of game cases, hard disk recovery and laptop-motherboard replacement.

Although he is a qualified geologist, his love for electronics runs deep.

His passion for computers began when he enrolled for his basic computer skills certificate at Avuxeni Computer Academy in Nkowankowa after passing his Grade 12 few years back.

He started gaining curiosity around the pc’s hardware and it grew from there.

After attaining his Honours degree in Geology, he also enrolled for a teaching qualification, where he fortunately got a permanent post.

He currently teaches Maths and Science at DZJ Mtebule Secondary School and he says he enjoys every moment of it.

His advice to young entrepreneurs is to first identify if the kind of business they want to embark on, is being done by many people or not.
