Position available for a production section manager
Kruger Berries, situated near Tarentaalrand Crossing on the Deerpark Road, is part of Winterwood Holdings, a UK owned business that specialises in berry production and marketing, Kruger Berries requires the services of a suitable qualified and experienced Production Section Manager
Reporting to the General Manager the incumbent will be responsible for managing all aspects related to the Production and harvesting of blue berries including specialised activities related to setting the crop through to harvesting.
Position Specifications
• Matric certificate.
• Post school qualification in Agriculture
• Plus at least 2 years’ management experience in a large commercial agriculture operation.
• Sound knowledge of farming in tunnels especially in berry or grape production would be advantageous.
• Fully computer literate in MS Office with good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Must have excellent people management skills.
• Good written and spoken English skills. Ability to speak other local languages would be advantageous.
• Have a working knowledge of GlobalG.A.P. and Siza.
• 3 – 5 Years’ previous experience in Agriculture Farming a must.

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Be prepared at all times for supplier and customer audits.
