Limpopo’s Covid-19 cases at 18 810

According to the latest statistics by the Health Department, 27 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.

The province’s number of cumulative positive cases of Covid-19 is at 18 810, of which 322 cases are still active Review Online reported.

The Limpopo Health Department’s latest statistics indicate that 27 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours. The most new cases were recorded in the Capricorn district (13), while Vhembe recorded nine new cases and Waterberg had five. Thus far, 512 people have passed away due to Covid-19 related complications and 17 976 people have recovered.

A total of 121 936 tests have been conducted to date, with the majority done by the private sector (73 544). The public sector has conducted the other 48 392.
