NOTICE: Tzaneen police station to be fumigated on Friday

Tzaneen police spokesperson Sgt Maurice Nkhwashu said offices will be closed at 10:00 for safety reasons.

He said there is a lot of insects, especially in the cells.

“There are also cockroaches in the kitchen and it’s unhealthy. We want to stop the spread of diseases before it starts. We are proactive and not reactive,” he said.

Nkhwashu said all services will be rendered from the supply chain management offices using the back entrance in Morgan Street.

“The closure is temporary and it will not take more than three hours,” he said.
