Regina Mokgadi Mahasha will appear again at the Bolobedu Magistrate’s Court on 29 January 2021.
According to police spokesperson Col Moatshe Ngoepe it is alleged that the deceased arrived home and started to accuse the suspect of being unfaithful.
“Subsequently, a fight ensued until the suspect attacked the deceased several times with a sharp instrument. Police were notified about the incident and reacted swiftly with the Emergency Medical Services. On arrival, the deceased was certified dead at the scene by the paramedics,” Ngoepe said.

He said Mahasha was arrested on the spot. Ngoepe said the motive behind the incident is still under police investigation but domestic violence may not be ruled out.
