Phalaborwa: Students prayers finally answered after spending a few nights at the college gate

Potential students of Mopani South East TVET College showed their resilience when they camped at the Phalaborwa Campus Gate for a few nights after the registration processes were stopped by the Student Representative Council (SRC) and the African National Congress Youth Leauge (ANCYL) demanding additional enrollments.

Sleepless nights at the college’s gate have paid off to prospective students who had vowed to sleep at the gate of the Phalaborwa Campus of Mopani South East TVET College until they register.

This is after the registration process was resumed. The Student Representative Council, Phalaborwa African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL), and the college management came to an understanding in terms of additional enrollments.

According to the college’s Spokesperson, Tiyina Mboweni, the registrations were running smoothly after an engagement with the SRC. The College management managed to slightly increase enrollment at the Phalaborwa Campus as per the request.
