Khanyisa shines yet again

Matriculants at Khanyisa Education Centre in Giyani have once again done themselves and their school proud.

The class of 2019 has delivered a 100 % pass with 88,7% of the cohort attaining Bachelor passes.

This ensured that the class of 2019 maintained the very proud tradition that the school has built up over the years.

Khanyisa, in existence for its thirty second year, registered its first matric group in 1993.

It has since had twenty seven successive groups of Grade 12 learners, who have recorded 100% passes in twenty five of the twenty seven years.

The class of 2019 has extended this very proud record for another year and the learners can feel justifiably p r o u d of their performance.

The top matriculant, Dzunisani Furumele obtained distinctions in each of his seven subjects, including Mathematics and Physical Sciences.

The top three learners attained 80+% aggregate passes, while the top ten all attained above 75% aggregate passes.

The reasons behind the success of Khanyisa are threefold: Firstly, a dedicated, hardworking, professional and experienced teaching corps.

Teachers work tirelessly to ensure the academic success of learners.

Secondly, the strong work ethic of the learners and their willingness to work hard in order to obtain success.

Learners willingly participate in all learning activities and avail themselves for enrichment classes and activities such as Olympiads and other competitions.

Thirdly, committed and dedicated parents who stand behind their children, ready to assist the school, it’s staff and learners in whatever is planned in terms of the academic programme.

The school management and governing council extends congratulations to the parents, staff and learners for their performance and thank all parties for the roles played in ensuring this level of success.
