Family grateful for donations

A family of four thankful for donations they received from a kind resident

Last week, Letaba Herald reported on a family who lost all their belongings after a fire destroyed everything they owned.

The Tazvinga family would like to thank a local Samaritan who donated a bed, clothes and school uniforms for their children.

The Department of Social Development also assisted them with groceries, however the family can still do with more donations of food and furniture items.

The parents are still without clothes, as the only clothes they have are those they wore on the day the house burnt down.

According to Grace Tazvinga, the family went to church to attend an all night prayer. In the morning at about 06:00, they received a call from a neighbour informing them that the house was on fire.

Anyone who is interested in assisting the family with donations, can call Tintswalo Shipalana on 087-287-6849 or send an email to emelda@herald.co.za.
