MDM’s Executive Mayor, Pule Shayi told the congregants that as a municipality they have tried numerous ways of supplying water to communities, but lack of rain plays a big factor.

“We have drilled 98 boreholes within the district, but the boreholes are also drying up quick because of no rain. Communities which are hit the most by this, such as Lenyenye don’t understand our challenges all they want is water. As the MDM we have seen the need to seek for divine intervention, because by our own might and wisdom has failed us,” Shayi stated.
