Traffic officer honoured for good service on the road

Indeed hard work really pays off, it is the case for Falaza Mthombeni, a Ritavi Traffic Officer who was honoured for excellent service on the road.

On Friday, October 25 a prestigious event recognising the outstanding performance in traffic law enforcement by Mthombeni was held at the Nkowankowa Community Hall.

For the past 29 years he has been serving the local community with dedication and a smile on his face.

Two local non profit organisations, Ritavi Community View and Ahi yeni in partnership with Community Work Programme, saw a need to honour Mthombeni for his dedication to the community.

The idea of appreciating Mthombeni materialised after the organisations noticed the difference he brings on the roads on the R36 Tzaneen to Lydenberg Road, especially at the Letaba Cross during peak hours.
