Gallery: Chamber of commerce hosts networking lunch

Each business organisation was given a minute to present about what makes their business one to be reckoned with.

The Tzaneen Chamber of Commerce hosted their monthly luncheon on Friday, October 18 as a speed networking session at Hotel@Tzaneen.

This was an opportunity for various businesses to not only market themselves but to also create better understanding about their business and the products they have to offer.

First to present was Leonie Roux from Pest Control Specialist, wherein she made mention of the fact that Pest Control won the 2019 award for Franchisee of the year and that the company has been winning PMR awards every year since 2010.

After the presentation Pest Control Specialist held a special draw and gifts were given to three lucky attendees, namely Joe Dreyer, Chris Mocke and Chandré Heyns.

The luncheon then gave each company representative a minute to speak on behalf of their business.

One of the speakers, Chantelle Liversage who spoke on behalf of Mango Magic Dehydration and Eco Choice stated that the company was founded in 1997, making various delicacies under the Eco Choice brand.

She continued to give a brief history of the people who started the company, people who were brought to partner in the business and also making mention of the fact that they will be relocating to a location that will help boost and increase production.

The announcement was accompanied by the knowledge given by Liversage that the relocation comes after 22 years of the company being nestled in Letsitele Valley.

“We have decided to relocate in order to meet demands because for our family, this is not just a business but a passion and a lifestyle. “And because we put our all into the business, we enjoy seeing the impact our efforts make,” Liversage stated and in closing she shared the following words with the attendees, “big things are coming, watch the space.”

The Chamber will host their next luncheon on Friday, November 22.
