The programme was held to activate and improve the workmanship between communities and the police service and also to inform people about the job opportunities available.

“The Imbizo was a recruitment programme we held for people all of races between the ages of 18 and 30 to come and apply for work. Community members in Relela were called to apply on the spot and we think we got a promising turn-out from it as they responded well to what we were doing,” stated Sergeant Maurice Nkhwashu, spokesperson for the Tzaneen SAPS.
