HOEDSPRUIT: Dianné needs your help

Dianné who is only four and a half years old needs help as her family just found out recently about the medical condition she has.

When the story of Diana Becker finding her biological father first broke, Hoedspruit Herald followed it until the day they got to meet one another.

It was first in 2018 when Herald got hold of the story and covered it and earlier this year Diana and her biological father got to sit down with Herald and talk about their journey to finding each other.

Sadly, the Becker family has just recently discovered that their youngest daughter, Dianné Becker has Congenital Heart Defect (CHD).

With medical costs sitting for the surgery being so high, the family has managed to raise R110 000 so far and need help raising the additional R200 000.

Little Dianné’s surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, November 06.

As a way to see through that she gets to have her surgery done on time, the family, with the help of the Hoedspruit Diepsee Hengel Club will be hosting a fundraiser on Friday, September 27.

The Becker family appeals to anyone and everyone to join them and help in raising the much needed funds for their daughter.

Diana told Herald that they recently changed medical aid schemes and are still on an exclusion period, hence they need all the help they can possibly get from the community and anyone else who is willing to help them.

Herald will give updates on the progression of the fundraiser, surgery and recovery of little Dianné as more information is made available.
