TZANEEN: Walking with a theme for a purpose
There will be Road Safety Agents present within the route that will be used to ensure the safety of all participants.
The Tzaneen Community Forum is bringing another exciting event to locals and just about anyone who would love to join in fundraising for the forum.
A fun walk/run (which is part of the Tzaneen Marathon Clubs Spring Opener) under the theme of ‘Mad Hatters’ will be taking place at the Tzaneen Lifestyle Centre on Saturday.
Tickets for the walk/run will be available from the shopping complex as of Friday from 14:00-19:00 and before the race on Saturday.
“We want as many people to come and participate in the fun walk/run this year. Last year, we had over 300 people take part. Participants will need to have their Mad Hatters Stickers on from the start until they complete their walk/run in order to get a medal. For those who want to order the ticket online, they can do so and collect them at Stephan van Rensburg Attorneys, or before the race” stated Stephan van Rensburg and Anne French, organisers of the fun walk/run.

The organisers also promised to have amazing, jam packed prizes for participants.
The fun walk/run will not only be part of the Spring Opener, but it will be the launch of the Heroes of Hope campaign.
Tickets for the walk/run will be sold as follows, R50 for adults, R25 for children under 13 and free entry for children below the age of three years.
