NKOWANKOWA: Community demands justice for Rhandzanani
The community were protesting outside the court yard demanding justice for the young mother before and after the court session.
The community of Nkowankowa Section D, demands justice for a young mother who was allegedly killed by her former lover last Friday at her home.
Collen Phakula appeared before the Nkowankowa Magistrate Court on Monday for allegedly stabbing to death Rhandzanani Dear Mhangwana.
Phakula’s case was remanded to April 1 for further investigations and he remains in police custody.

Meanwhile the MEC for Social Development, Mapula Mokaba-Phukwana sent a message of condolences to the Mhangwana family and has dispatched a team of social work professionals to offer trauma counseling and debriefing to the family members and the child of the deceased in particular who witnessed the tragic death of her mother.
