“What we do is, we recruit around 2700 students throughout the whole Limpopo Province for this learnership and they start with four months of character building at the army, then do their 12 months learnership program, which we appointed the Letaba TVET College to conduct, and then finally they have to complete five months of community service,” explained Judith Ramoleta, from the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform.
The students were excited to graduate and complete their five months of community service before they embark on their journey to grow in the business industry of Limpopo.
Tefu Conney, from the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform, also explained how the close-out ceremony is there to help link the 300 graduates with organisations, like Succinct Investments (PTY) Ltd, that they can become a part of or learn from in the future.
