There is a possibility of highjacking in the Politsi area between Modjadjiskloof and Tzaneen.
According to information, suspects are placing sharpened metal spikes on the road to puncture vehicle tyres.
On March 6 around 22:00 a vehicle passed Politsi when he noticed the spikes on the road.
He also noticed two vehicles parked next to the road.
The driver did not stop, but rather drove on and later removed a spike from his tyre.
There is currently no description of the vehicles involved.
Be cautious and alert when driving in the area.
