MOPANI: Rainbow Best School In Circuit
The school received trophies and certificates in different categories at the Khujwana Circuit Execellence Awards at the Lenyenye Community Hall on Friday.
Rainbow Combined School has is the Overall Best School in the Khujwana Circuit after producing a 100% matric pass rate in 2018.
The school received trophies and certificates in different categories at the Khujwana Circuit Execellence Awards at the Lenyenye Community Hall on Friday.
Five of the learners were part of the Top 10 Best learners in the circuit and also five of the school’s educators were among the best.
Rebotile Maake was Best Learner in Geography and Life Orientation with 84% and 90% respectively, Ndzhalama Makhubele was Best Learner in Life Orientation with a 90% as well, Smangele Maponya and Mpho Mboweni shared the title of Best Learner in English with a 82% pass rate.
Meanwhile V Chamisa received an award for Best Educator in English with a 100% rate, N Nkwinika was named Best Xitsonga Educator producing 100% pass rate, E Shai was named Best Educator in Sepedi for also producing 100% pass rate, C Mukaro was Best Educator in both Economics and Geography with a 100% pass rate and lastly A Mukaro was Best Teacher in Accounting with a 100% pass rate.
The school also received position one for Best School with Highest numbers of Bachelors with 25 leaners out of 36 passed with bachelors with a overall 69.4% pass rate.
