Mother and son, Dr Katy Williams and Finn Williams, were seriously injured after a tragic accident with a giraffe at their home in Blyde Wildlife Estate, Hoedspruit, on September 3, 2018.

Katy resumed her work as a wildlife biologist last year and Finn returned to preschool in early January.
