Major rescue operation near Tzaneen for toddler in pit

A search and rescue operation for a one year old baby who fell into a borehole pit is underway at Joppie village outside Tzaneen.

The Mopani District Municipality’s dissaster management personnel, the Department of Health’s emergency services and the police are working tirelessly to ensure that the baby is recovered.
