She believes that nail art is a gift, which needs creativity in meeting the clients' expectations, but most importantly it needs to be nurtured through passion and continuos acquiring of knowledge of the craft.

Nail technician, Tiny Nkuna says, nail art is her love language all year around.

Nkuna is the owner of Tiny’s Nail Boutique in Tzaneen which specialises in all kinds of treatments ranging from, manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails and gelish nails.

Putting a smile on peoples’ faces is her speciality, as she has the privileged of making her clients happy daily.

“I love my job, because I get to make women beautiful, doing nails is part of beauty and seeing their smiles is encouraging to me,” said Nkuna.

She believes pretty nails are a confidence booster, this is why she advices women to get their nails done by professionals.

“People should go to nail technicians, because they are trained to do nails and they have the right equipment which prevents damaged nails and infections,’ added Nkuna.

Tiny doing her magic

Nkuna fell in love with beautiful nails over a decade ago when she went for her first nail treatment in varsity.

“Women must love and respect each other and we must surround ourselves with positive people all the time.

“We must not depend on men, we are complete on our own, life is beautiful with or without men, “Nkuna concluded.
