Talking business, in a nutshell

The speed networking event gave representatives of local businesses a one minute stage to give the audience a small taster of what their business is all about.

The members of Tzaneen Chamber of Commerce had just sixty seconds to describe their business, in a nutshell, to the rest of the Chamber members and guests at the monthly luncheon meeting on Friday.

The main sponsor of the event was Zeus Tyres and a presentation was given by guest speaker, Mark Pretorius from Apollo tyres. Apollo tyres have a global presence but their partnership with Zeus Tyres in Tzaneen saw the opening of their first concept store in South Africa. Tzaneen was chosen as the prime location to open the concept store due to its market diversity.

Further to Pretorius’ speech and the sixty second talks given by Chamber members, the attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch as Hotel@Tzaneen and names were put in a hat to determine who would be taking home the monthly hampers sponsored by EcoChoice and Pest Control Specialists.

The lucky winners were Bennie Kruger from Letaba Rugby Club and Martin Froise from Vixtrix Signs.
