Hoedspruit races to the aid of needy nursery school

"The people in Hoedspruit have just been phenomenal and the outcome enormous."

The community of Hoedspruit never fails to show its kind, caring and generous nature and this time the community has come to the aid of Bophelo Nursery School in Acornhoek.

Bophelo Nursery was burgled a while ago and the contents of the building taken.

Even the learning materials were taken from the walls.

Debbie and Karl Behnke from Over The Fence Outreach (OTFO), a Christian Ministry, asked for help via social media and the response from the Hoedspruit community was simply overwhelming.

The list of donated items is a very long one, but includes; linen, pans, cups, plates, chairs, tables, paint, fans, toys and even two camping cots.

Bags and bags of donated items given to Bophelo Nursery after it was robbed.

Additionally, the OTFO Support Team in America came to the Nursery School’s aid with monetary donations that will assist Debbie and Karl Behnke to buy any items still required.

OTFO themselves donated stationery, food, water and new learning materials.
